She has her mom's hair

Michael, Ruby and I went out to dinner tonight.  There was a 10 y/o girl sitting up at the counter with her mom. They kept turning around and looking at us, smiling, saying how beautiful our daughter was, and asked Ruby's age.  Ruby just learned how to wave and would wave at them each time they looked at her.  Her mom caught my eye and said that her  daughter had just said, "she has her mom's hair".  Wow.... My heart was so touched that this young girl saw our similarities as opposed to our differences.
