Ruby Tsege turned one yesterday. 2/2/10. Grammy Ellice came to visit Ruby... the best birthday gift ever!
She had some big milestones today. We went out to lunch for Dim Sum and Ruby sat in the wooden highchair like a big girl. She usually HATES the highchairs at restaurants and will only sit on my lap. She also took both of her naps in her travel crib, which is huge!! Since we have been home, she will only go to sleep either in her stroller or car seat. We gave baby girl a vanilla cupcake to celebrate. It was so cute, she really didn't know what to do with it. She liked playing with the frosting and only ate the cake part until I stepped in and smeared some frosting on her face. What one year old eats a cupcake without making a mess??? Ruby Tsege!
Ruby's smile is getting bigger and bigger every day. She is our joy, or love, our light. She is the sunshine that fills our heart every day. We are humbled and blessed beyond measure to be her parents.
